Vero to 60
Vero Beach, Florida, 2012
The family sought out a vacation retreat to accommodate their expansive family within an inclusive community, this led them to the community of Windsor, Vero Beach, Florida. The program called for a Main House, a Summer House with swimming pool and two separate Guest Houses. Given the large lot size, the structures were lined along the property edge to enclose and focus attention on the precise landscape of the central courtyard. Jacobsen Architects maintained their distinctively crisp building style while remaining sensitive to the rigorous building codes and Windsor's inherent Caribbean colonial style of architecture.
