Jacobsen Architecture, LLC is a custom design house with projects throughout the United States, Caribbean, Canada and Europe.

The firm is seeking a Project Architect with experience in:

Residential design and production
Commercial design and production
Institutional design and production
Extensive shop drawings processing
Experience in design of custom elements such as doors and windows

Medical, paid three week vacation (after 2 years with the firm).

Candidate needs to hold a valid architecture license, a valid driver’s license, be able to travel up to 10% of the time, is an American citizen, speaks fluent English. Applicant must be located in the Eastern Time Zone, near a a major airport is handy.

NOTES:

2 openings.

Additional Salary Information: Figure is based on hourly compensation at 40 hours a week. The job requires some hours over that at times.

Virtual Architectural Office requirements:

“VAO” is a very different animal than commuting and working in an physical office.

Here are the requirements:

MUST be located in Eastern Time Zone.
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hour a week.
Architects and staff who work remotely are required to be ‘visually present’ in a team room using Zoom much of the time.
Just like a real office, phone calls are not to be muted (unless personal) so others on the team can hear what you are discussing with the consultants and builders.
Must be available during business hours to speak with colleagues and principal.
