Gooch Residence
Coast of Maine, USA, 2002
Approaching from the entrance drive, the view is focused on a cluster of buildings. A small entrance pavilion leads to the inside of the structure, entering immediately into a large great room with a glass wall opening out to a spectacular ocean view. The “small village” approach to this floor plan allows clean functionality for the owner’s large and growing family and provides private living quarters with generous storage space surrounding a large, central communal space.
